Imperial College London and Care Continuum

Conrane Consulting formed a consortium in 2005, collaborating with Imperial College London and Care Continuum: a managed care implementation company in the USA,  to provide consultancy support to the National Health Service (NHS), related organisations and our international clients in:

• implementing the National Service Framework on Long-Term Conditions: including the development of the community matron function – our largest working NHS project to date;

• reforming primary and community care commissioning and service provision.
  

The consortium’s multi-disciplinary, international team has extensive experience of working on successful projects in Primary Care Trusts and Health Authorities all over the UK: beginning with our first pilot of case management in the UK at ‘Castlefields Health Centre’ in Runcorn.

Keele University

In 2003 Conrane Consulting joined forces with the Centre for Health Planning and Management at Keele University and other collaborators to develop and implement ‘Action Learning Sets in Workforce Development’ in a wide range of NHS organisations. Other projects included a strategy for developing the dental workforce in a large Strategic Health Authority the outcome of which will be published in the British Dental Journal in early 2006.
