George Kempton is a biochemist by background and has worked as an independent management consultant for 10 years. He specialises in quality, workforce design, occupational standards and education and training in the Healthcare sector.

Recent projects include:

• Department of Health ‘Skills for Health’ design of new roles, competencies and occupational standards in cancer treatment and diagnostic radiography;
• developing Workforce Competency frameworks for Supportive and Palliative Care, Chemotherapy, and Cystoscopy;
• Re-engineering Healthcare Work Force consultancy project in Denmark;
• Management Development, Training of Trainers project in Brazil;
• ‘Review and Improvement of Maternal and Reproductive Healthcare Provision for Refugees’ project in Palestine;
• ‘Development of Assistant Nurses Role’ project in Kyrgyzstan.
